Human Resource Department
The department deals with the entire service life of an employee from recruitment to retirement coupled with organizational structure and reporting line. It assists PVTC management regarding matters of the policy/regulation formation pertaining to service, transfer/posting, disciplinary action, compensation and benefits administration, hiring and firing, training and development, performance appraisal, promotions and demotions, management of service book and personal files of employees and recommends changes if required.
The department also provides guidance and advice to employees regarding policy matters such as equal employment opportunities, anti-harassment matters and compliance related legal matters. Other aspects of departmental functions consist of analysis, modification and implementation of benefit policies to establish competitive programs, identification of vacancies, recruitment and salary review process of PVTC.
