In line with the vision of the Honorable Chief Minister, Punjab, the Punjab Vocational Training Council (PVTC) is actively facilitating overseas employment opportunities for its trainees and graduates through a structured, demand-driven approach. Responding to the growing global demand for skilled and certified manpower, PVTC prepares its workforce for international labor markets through market-aligned training, placement facilitation, and comprehensive career support.
PVTC operates across the complete overseas employment value chain—from demand-based skills training to international placement—in collaboration with licensed Overseas Employment Promoters (OEPs). These initiatives are spearheaded by the Career Guidance & Placement (CG&P) Wing, with strong coordination from Regional, Area, and VTI-level field teams.

PVTC graduates are employed in prominent international markets including Saudi Arabia (KSA), United Arab Emirates (UAE), Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Malaysia, United Kingdom, and Romania, along with other destinations such as Iraq, Cyprus, Kyrgyzstan, Greece, Kuwait, Türkiye, and Spain.
Overseas placements primarily cover technical, healthcare support, ICT, and service-sector trades, aligned with international labor market demand.

PVTC follows a transparent six-step overseas placement mechanism:
- Market Demand Identification – Overseas job demands identified through licensed OEPs
- Candidate Mobilization & Registration – Willing PVTC pass-outs mobilized through VTIs and CG&P
- Skill Alignment & Refresher Training – Trade-specific upskilling and orientation
- Interview & Trade Testing – Employer interviews and technical assessments facilitated
- Pre-Departure Training – Cultural, social, and job-specific orientation
- Overseas Placement – Deployment through authorized recruitment channels

Role of Career Guidance & Placement Wing
The Career Guidance & Placement (CG&P) Wing serves as PVTC’s central employment facilitation mechanism by:
- Facilitating local and overseas employment opportunities
- Conducting labor market assessments to align training with global demand
- Coordinating with VTIs and employers for placements and on-the-job training
- Supporting entrepreneurship and self-employment initiatives
- Maintaining a centralized digital placement database
- Providing interview readiness and refresher training support
